Emergency Food Assistance for Individuals and Families
The Northeast Area Food Pantry at Bethany Christian Church provides emergency food assistance to individuals and families in Lincoln who are experiencing food insecurity. We offer a seven-day supply of nutritious, nonperishable food to help bridge temporary hardships and ensure our neighbors have access to the food they need.
For more than 55 years, our pantry has served the Lincoln community with compassion, dignity, and respect. Whether you're looking for a food pantry in Lincoln or would like to support local families through food donations or financial gifts, we're here to help.

If you or someone you know needs emergency food assistance, the Northeast Area Food Pantry is here for you.
We provide a seven-day supply of nonperishable food for individuals and families experiencing temporary financial challenges, unexpected expenses, illness, job loss, or other difficult circumstances.

Understanding Food Insecurity
Food insecurity means not having reliable access to enough nutritious food for an active, healthy life. It affects children, older adults, working families, and individuals throughout Lincoln and Lancaster County.
Emergency food assistance helps provide short-term support while families work through life's unexpected challenges, ensuring they can continue putting healthy meals on the table.
Donate Food or Make a Financial Gift
Every donation helps provide food for neighbors in Lincoln who are facing difficult circumstances.
Financial donations allow us to purchase food. Donations of nonperishable food are also greatly appreciated and help keep our pantry shelves stocked throughout the year.

The Northeast Area Food Pantry is made possible through the generosity of our congregation, volunteers, community partners, and donors. Together, we provide food, encouragement, and practical support to individuals and families throughout Lincoln.

Community Support
Bethany Christian Church sponsors a Cub Scout troop, provides a place for the Bethany AA Open Meeting every Monday evening at 7:30 pm, Bethany AA Group Meeting every Tuesday morning at 6 am, Thursday Morning AA for individuals who work at 6 am, and the Recovery at Work NA group on Tuesday evenings at 6 pm. We also host the Bethany Women's Club, which meets the second Tuesday of each month, September through May, at 1:30 pm. Odd Fellows & Rebekahs meet the third Thursday of the month at 1:30 pm.
